Mark Bestbier graduated from the University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort (South Africa), in 1999 and moved to England. 

Mark has worked in mixed and predominantly small animal practice for 3 years before continuing along his preferred interest of pathology.

He joined the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket in October 2002 for a 3 year residency in Equine and Small Animal Pathology.  Mark joined Rest Associates in January 2006.
